ING Life appointed John Wylie as the new chief of the international insurance company, it said Wednesday.
The Australia native has served the Dutch-based international company from 1992 as CEO in Taiwan and Hong Kong.
The company said they needed new leadership to undertake a critical role in the Korean insurance market, and to grow.
He had been in charge of the Asia Pacific division, which covered Korea from 2003 to 2006.
