The Home Network Council was founded in May 2002 to promote digital home
industry through its programs to develop home network service and apply
it to digital homes. The Council's tasks are to collect a joint industrial
response to the standardization, promote public awareness about home networking,
nurture home networking specialists, and facilitate the exchange of informations
among industry, universities, and research institutions under the close

| KAIT was established in 1987 as an intermediary to facilitate cooperation
between the industry and the government. KAIT has since contributed to the
promotion of an IT infrastructure and to the foundation for an information
