According to Yonhap News,

(TAEAN=Yonhap News) On January 3, One Mount submitted its plan for the urban-agricultural recreational village Taean Farm Culture City development project to Taean County, South Chungcheong Province.

Based on the plan, Taean Farm Culture City will be created on 2,348,670 square meters of land on Anmyeon Island by 2028, and will be designed to provide countryside residential spaces for 1,592 households.

During the first stage of the project, set to end in 2023, a Dutch flower town, Monmarte culture town, and Spanish exciting town will be constructed, while during the second stage, set to last until 2028, a Danish farm town, farm school and organic form will be created.

In June 2017, the county and One Mount signed a memorandum of understanding on creating the urban-agricultural recreational village, which targets high-income baby boomers and new seniors.

When it opens, the county expects Taean Farm Culture City to create a production inducement effect of KRW 388.4 billion and a added-value inducement effect of KRW 241.8 billion, thus contributing to the revitalization of the local economy.
