Dangjin city to spend as much as KRW 500 million to help SMEs enhance sales capabilities

The city of Dangjin, South Chungcheong Province is setting to overhaul local business environment, mainly targeting SMEs hit hard by the economic fallout from the recent outbreak of the coronavirus. The city and Chungcheong Namdo Economic Promotion Agency (CEPA) signed an MOU for the project on Mar. 17, following the main agenda to help 100 local entrepreneurs who’ve been running business over six months enhance marketing capabilities such as customer service or social media advertising.

The city government is planning to provide cash grants worth KRW 3-5million used for remodeling for those who’ll complete the entire courses for the program.
