Seoul seeks to export "Korean-style Smart City"


According to Yonhap News,

(SEOUL=Yonhap News) On September 5, KOTRA announced that it holds exhibitions and business partnering meetings to export high-tech, high-functioning Korean-style smart cities at KINTEX, Gyeonggi Province on September 4-6.

35 buyers from 12 countries around the world, including Europe, Middle East, and Africa participated, having business meetings with 140 Korean smart city companies such as Think Factory.

During the event, an IT company from China signed a contract worth USD 50 million on the purchase of comprehensive monitoring and control platform.

In addition, 11 domestic companies with core smart city solutions explained technologies to ASEAN's Smart City Network Delegation.
