Ulsan city to help small biz reach out to global partners online

The city of Ulsan and Korea International Trade Association (KITA) Ulsan Office announced that the authorities are now looking for those who want to join the agency’s biz-support programs, connecting small businesses to potential buyers via virtual meetings to share conversations for trade deals. The service aims to help entrepreneurs grappling with staving off the coronavirus shocks have access to remote client meetings, which is part of ways to extend the reach of potential business partners.

When meetings begin, the city government provides verbal translation services free of charge in English, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Vietnamese and Hindi for the participants. If deemed necessary, they offer a web conference software, adding to the venue for meetings. A group of international trade specialists are also ready to be mobilized to support the service members.

Business expenses to explore potential customers worldwide and credit / risk assessment services are also covered.

Anyone those who’ve taken part in the city govern led marketing support programs within two years or who’re soon to plan to can apply regardless of what type of industry categories they belong to. Candidates are required to prove residency in Ulsan city.
