Hub port for international industrial logistics in the 21st century

As the largest industrial and logistics port in Korea and located at the southeastern part of the Korean Peninsula, Ulsan Port is the fourth largest liquid logistics port in the world.
It has established its strong status as Northeast Asia liquid cargo hub port along with Korea’s largest industrial complex and a large-scale liquid cargo storage facility in its outer regions. It handles various different types of cargo including steel, metal, machinery and wood and 34 percent of the domestic cars and 33 percent of ships are exported through Ulsan Port.
To date, Ulsan Port has a berthing capacity of 115 ships and a handling capacity of 71 million tons of cargo while the port handling capacity reached an annual 202 million tons last year.
When Ulsan New Port, currently under construction, is completed in 2020, Ulsan Port will have a berthing capacity of 132 ships, an annual handling capacity of 89 million tons of cargo and an annual port handling capacity of 253 million tons. Ulsan will grow as one of the four oil hubs in the world following the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) region in Europe, Houston in USA, and Singapore in Asia.
