Chungbuk, to Sign Investment Agreement with 7 Companies

According to Yonhap News,

 

Chungbuk-do (North Chungcheong Province) will sign investment agreements with seven companies including STYX, a foot bathtub manufacturer, and Shinhwa Industry Hi-Tech, a producer of facilities for semiconductor and new and renewable energy.

 

STYX will relocate its factory to Sejong Techno Valley, an apartment-type factory in Cheongju, by investing KRW 13.8 billion. Shinhwa Industry Hi-Tech plans to inject KRW 11.2 billion to develop new items at Sejong Techno Valley by 2015.

 

The Province expects that the seven companies will generate 710 jobs through investment in the region.

 

Chungbuk added that the fifth government elected by popular vote has attracted investment worth KRW 2,675.8 billion including the seven companies slated to sign agreements with the Province.
