According to Yonhap News,
Chungbuk Province, local hospitals and travel agencies join hands to attract foreign tourists.
The province said that Chungbuk Medical Tourism Committee, composed of 21 medical institutions and 2 travel agencies, held the first meeting on September 8 to seek ways of revitalizing the committee. It also talked about operating a medical tourism booth at the festival for Chinese students in Korea in October. The medical tourism committee was organized on July 27 this year.
The province will make a web site for the committee to let people know good medical institutions in Chungbuk.
A provincial official said that the committee is designed to foster a high value-added medical tourism industry.
