The MOLIT and Daegu Jointly Work Together to Build the 2nd Daegu National Industrial Park
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOILT) and Deagu join hands in constructing the 2nd Daegu National Industrial Park in Dalseong-gun, Daegu city.
They had a dialogue to discuss issues on the construction project at the Deagu city hall located in Sangyeok-dong on June 26.
The dialogue was attended by Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Won Hee-ryong, Daegu Mayor Hong Joon-pyo, President of Korea Land & Housing Corp.(LH) Lee Han-joon, and CEO of Daegu Urban Development Corporation (DUDC) Jeong Myeong-seop.
LH and the DUDC are selected as implementers of the project.
The participating corporations and organizations singed an agreement during the dialogue to successfully complete the 2nd Daegu National Industrial Park.
The project of the 2nd Daegu National Industrial Park is part of the recent governmental plan released in March last year to construct 15 national industrial complexes.
The 3.3-million-square-meter national industrial park will be constructed in Hwanwon-eup and Okpo-eup of Daegu.
It has been 14 years since the 1st Daegu National Industrial Park was built in Dalseong-gun. The state and Daegu local governments plan to make the 2nd industrial park a convergence hub focusing on future vehicles and robots.
