K-Water signed MOU with Daejeon-si to cooperate on region-specific projects

On January 30, K-Water announced that it has signed an MOU with Daejeon-si for region-specific cooperative projects in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the relocation of its headquarters.

Under the MOU, K-Water plans to push for such projects as fostering the local water industry, supporting the revitalization of the startup ecosystem, creating Daejeon digital water industry valley, and promoting water conservation projects to respond to the climate crisis, in cooperation with Daejeon-si.

K-Water CEO said, "This year is meaningful in that it marks the 50th anniversary of co-prosperity and cooperation that we pursued jointly with Daejeon-si since the relocation of our headquarters in 1974," adding that "we will strengthen cooperation to make Daejeon the innovative hub of the water industry, becoming a central city in the local era."
