Daejeon signed MOU on investment and relocation with nine companies

On February 20, Daejeon-si announced that it has signed MOU with nine domestic hidden champions (small but strong companies) for investment on relocation and new establishment.

The signatories to the MOU will make investment of KRW 118.2 billion in the industrial complexes scheulded for sale in Pyeongchon and Jangdae, while Daejeon-si will provide administrative and financial support.

The city expects the investment of these companies would create 250 new jobs.

Daejeon's mayor said, "we appreciate the companies' decision to invest in Daejeon despite difficult economic conditions", adding "we will provide every possible support with creating industrial complexes as soon as possible."
