According to Yonhap News,

The website of e-Marketplace, where export companies in Jeju can trade directly with buyers online, will be opened.

Jeju Province said on March 30th that it plans to invest KRW 1 million to establish an electronic trade site in order to promote products of Jeju small- and mid-sized companies to overseas buyers and to help vitalize trade with those buyers. All export companies in Jeju will be able to utilize the website for free.

Export products will be promoted online throughout the year, and interested buyers will be able to inquire trade conditions and get answers on the website before they conclude actual export contracts.

Companies can apply for projects operated by Jeju province, and obtain information on export and import provided by central government agencies such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, and the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Korea Customs Service, and the Korea International Trade Association.

Jeju Province expects that the website will enable export companies and buyers to conveniently get information on export-related support projects conducted by the Korea International Trade Association, Small & medium Business Corporation, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, and Jeju Special Self-Governing Province at one place and to reduce costs regarding export by using free-of-charge online service.
