17 companies decided to make an investment worth KRW 400 billion in South Chungcheong province.
Chungnam-do, Hongseong-gun, and others signed a joint investment agreement with 17 companies including Ostem Implant at Hongseong-gun office on September 15. The companies are planned to build or expand factories on the land area of 308,742 square meters including 4 city and county industrial complexes in Chungnam-do by investing KRW 422.9 billion. They are also expected to hire about 1,810 workers.
Ostem Impalnt will invest KRW 140 billion on the area of 51,000 square meters in Cheonan Technopark General Industrial Complex. Hamra Housing, a manufacturer of building exterior and interior materials, will invest KRW 10 billion in the area of 32,817 square meters in Susin-myeon, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan.
Arlico Pharm.co., Ltd., a company specialized in medicine (investment KRW 39.4 billion), Dpams Tech(KRW 22.6 billion), a mobile phone camera company, and Highfly Co., Ltd., a pharmaceutical company (KRW 36.2 billion) will be moving into the Cheonan Northern BIT General Industrial Complex.
Duksan Techopia, a semiconductor material company, will invest KRW 64.3 billion to build a new factory in the area of 52,994 square meters in South Gongju General Industrial Complex.
ES TECH International (10,962 square meters, KRW 7 billion), an optical fiber cable company, will relocate its factory from Suwon, Gyeonggi Province to Naepo Urban High-Tech Industrial Complex, while MPR Brain (6,545 square meters, KRW 2.6 billion), a cosmetics manufacturer, will relocate from Goyang-si, Gyeonggi province into Geumma-myeon, Hongseong-gun.
Chungnam-do expects that when the factories go into full operation, there will be production effect of KRW 378.1 billion, and KRW 101.9 billion added-value.
