Hydrogen-specialized complex to be built in Cheongyang, Chungnam-do

Chungnam's governor signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the governor of Cheongyang-gun, CEO of Sodami, and CEO of Doojin Construction to push for the Cheongyang General Industrial Complex Development Project at the provincial government office on December 13.

Sodami and Doojin Construction will form a special purpose corporation (SPC) to build a general industrial complex on 740,000 square meters in the area of Bibong-myeon, Cheongyang-gun, by investing KRW 90 billion

The first general industrial complex in Cheongyang will be developed as a hydrogen-specialized complex in connection with Chungnam-do's carbon-neutrality practice and policy to promote the hydrogen industry.

They plan to make hydrogen-related companies such as hydrogen fuel cells companies, eco-friendly auto parts companies, electric and mechanical equipment companies, and companies in the high-tech industries such as high value-added fine chemicals.
