These Requirements prescribe specific technical standards to protect the human body from extra-high voltage raceways, thereby aiming to improve the safety of extra-high voltage raceways, reduce public anxiety, and minimize public conflict involving extra-high voltage raceways.

A. Prescribe limits for exposure to extremely low frequency electromagnetic fields generated by extra-high voltage raceways (Article 3)

B. Prescribe limits for noise and vibrations generated by extra-high voltage raceways (Article 4)

C. Prescribe limits on sunlight obstruction caused by extra-high voltage raceways (Article 5)
