(1) Reasons for Proposal

The Amendment aims to prevent consumer harm caused by harmful substances in a number of synthetic resin products by designating and managing synthetic resin products as consumer products subject to compliance with safety control under the Electrical Appliance and Consumer Products Safety Control Act.
