A. Expansion of Statistical Research Subjects, etc. (Article 5. Attached Table. Article 7/Strengthened/No Cost)

- Prescribe that the current provision which indiscriminately excludes all chemicals with total volume of handling per year not exceeding 1 ton (100kg for hazardous substances) from research shall be amended to differentiate between industries, and that in the case of certain industries, all chemicals shall be subject to research without regard to their volume of handling (Article 5. Attached Table).

- Newly insert a provision prescribing that a place of business using chemicals at or below the standard volume shall voluntarily report that it is not subject to research (Article 7)*.

*This information has been reported out of practice during statistical research, and this amendment provides a legal basis for such practice.
