(1) Reasons for Proposal
To prevent concerns about hazards caused by metallic foreign matter (iron powder) when consuming powdered products, the amendment aims to strengthen food safety management by newly inserting manufacturing and processing standards to remove iron powder by using magnets after the grinding process.

(2) Major Provisions
Newly insert manufacturing and processing standards for removing iron powder when producing powdered products (Article No. 2. 2. 29)
(1) Need the safety management of powder, fine grain, and pill products that may contain iron powder.
(2) Newly insert manufacturing and processing standards which require to take a process of removing iron powder after grinding when manufacturing powder, fine grain, and pill products.
(3) Supply safe foods to the people by securing the safety of powder form products.
