(1) Reasons for Proposal
This amendment to the Electromagnetic Compatibility Standards promotes the electric railway industry and adopts international standards to ensure safe protection from electromagnetic influence and support the successful distribution of IT-integrated lighting equipment, etc.

(2) Major Provisions
A. Formulate electromagnetic compatibility standards by relaxing electromagnetic interference standards applicable to 9 to 150 kHz electric railways in accordance with international standards, and supplementing electromagnetic susceptibility standards (Article 10, attached Table 7)
B. Formulate electromagnetic interference standards in accordance with international standards to minimize electromagnetic influence following the introduction of IT-integrated lighting equipment, etc. (Article 9, attached Table 6)
