(1) Reasons for Proposal
There has been a pressing need for the provision of information that may affect consumer safety and purchase decisions in relation to blind box products, household chemicals, additional shipping charges for island areas, and other goods for which there is large information asymmetry. Accordingly, this Amendment obligates mail order distributors to provide information on the relevant goods and terms of transactions.
