(1) Reasons for Proposal

In accordance with the need to strengthen fire safety with respect to lodging facilities with frequent fires and buildings classified as vulnerable to fires as a result of special fire safety investigations conducted in accordance with the government-wide special fire safety task force, this Amendment aims to make additional pre-announcement with respect to the proposed pre-announcement on the enactment of the Enforcement Decree of the Building Management Act (public notice of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport No. 2019-1606 (Nov. 27, 2019)).

(2) Major Provisions

A. Expansion of the scope of fire safety reinforcement subjects (proposed pre-announcement of legislation Article 28)

1) Include the general lodging facilities and buildings likely to bring severe casualties and property damage as shown in special fire safety investigation results.
