(1) Reasons for Proposal
As the credit rating system for Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) is introduced through the vitalization measures of public-offering REITs to provide objective REITs investment information, etc., this amendment aims to stipulate the scope of REITs excluded from credit rating and supplement the matters that delegated to subordinate statutes in the Enforcement Decree of the Act but not specified.
(2) Major Provisions
A. Stipulate matters subject to credit ratings (Article 5)
Stipulate those matters subject to exclusion from credit ratings in consideration of the debt ratio and rental conditions
B. Stipulate those matters subject to information disclosure (Article 6)
Clarify the scope of those matters subject to information disclosure by prescribing the definition of matters affecting financial accidents and investors' judgments
