□ Promote follow-up measures for new listings of persistent organic pollutants under the Stockholm Convention and for the amendment * of the “Enforcement Decree of the Persistent Pollutants Control Act” (promulgated on July 14, 2020)

** Establish a basis for converting the types of listed substances in the Convention into public notifications (attached Table 1 of the previous Enforcement Decree) and provide detailed information on the substances under the Convention

○ Add the new substances* in the Stockholm Convention as those subject to management under the “Persistent Pollutants Control Act”** and expand the information provided on the substances listed in the Convention

* Pentadecafluorooctanoic acid (industrial substances water repellent, soil resistant, etc.) and dicofol (agricultural pesticide)

** Manage by means such as the prohibition of handling for purposes other than those permitted under the Convention, prior approval even for exports for permitted purposes, and monitoring
