(1) Reasons for Proposal

In accordance with the Construction Site Fire Safety Measures (June 18, 2020), this amendment aims to require that finishing materials and insulation materials for all warehouses, factories, etc., are materials that do not interfere with fire prevention and to prevent fire accidents during construction by placing a dedicated supervisor when it is not possible to use insulation materials that do not interfere with fire prevention.

(2) Major Provisions

A. Assign a dedicated supervisor for construction work with insulation materials (Article 19 (7)) 

In the case prescribed by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport among construction work with finishing materials (where insulation materials that do not interfere with fire prevention cannot be used at a warehouse or factory construction site) require a resident dedicated supervisor on a site.

B. Require the use of materials that do not interfere with fire prevention for the interior and exterior walls of all warehouses and factories (Article 61) 

In accordance with Article 52 (1) and (2) of the Act, expand the object of using materials that do not interfere with fire prevention as finishing materials for the interior and exterior walls of buildings to all factories and warehouse facilities.
