① Consolidate criteria and guidelines for waste sorting and grading labeling

• (Necessity) There is a similar notice, which causes confusion in the industry.
• (Amendment) Consolidate the “Guidelines for Waste Sorting Labeling (Ministry of Environment Notice No. 2017-235)” and “Packaging Material Structure Grading Labeling (Ministry of Environment Notice No. 2020-39).”

② Specify the waste sorting method on a waste sorting label.

• (Necessity) Reduce waste sorting efficiency as the current material-based waste sorting label is difficult for ordinary consumers to understand.
• (Amendment) Require the labeling of the waste sorting method, not the material name, and increase the label size for better readability.
