(1) Reasons for Proposal

 As the maximum residue limit for ethoxyquin in fishery products is newly inserted under Food Standards and Specifications, this Partial Amendment aims to prevent ethoxyquin from getting into feed for fishery products.

 It also aims to improve inconveniences among people by adding horses to the scope of total mixed rations for ruminants and supplement shortcomings by specifying newly added feed raw materials.

(2) Major Provisions

A. Require the organic feed process to follow the Act on the Promotion of Environment-Friendly Agriculture and Fisheries and the Management of and Support for Organic Foods, etc. (Article 8).

B. Reflect the re-review deadline under the Regulations on the Issuance and Management of Directives and Established Rules (Article 15).

C. Add Camelina sativa, Brachiaria grass, Centella asiatica leaf powder, strawberry, Moringa oleifera leaf powder, leather, fish solubles, broad bean, and papaya (feed ingredients), and E. coli bacteriophage, disodium 5′-guanylate, sodium sesquicarbonate, bellflower root extracts, redstem wormwood extracts, and lauric acid (feed additives) to the scope of feed, for which the feed process is set with feed ingredients and feed additives, through the Feed Process Review Committee, and define specific standards and specifications (attached Tables 1, 2, 5, 6, and 11).

D. Change total mixed rations for ruminants to total mixed rations, and add horses to applicable livestock species (attached Table 3).

E. Ban mixing ethoxyquin and its metabolites in feed rations for aquatic animals and define the adventitious presence level as less than 0.002% (attached Table 22).
