¡  Consolidate the temporary storage period for express goods whose temporary storage period is different depending on the temporary storage location

¡  Make reasons to allow for selling through auction or optional contract

(2) Major Provisions

o  Consolidate the temporary storage period for express goods whose temporary storage period is different depending on the temporary storage location.

¡  Prescribe that that the express goods shall have different temporary storage periods because they are located in different temporary storage places.

¡  Set the temporary storage period as 2 months considering the characteristics of express goods, which mostly belong to individuals, are small, and require multiple deliveries.

o  Make reasons to allow for selling through auction or optional contract.

¡  Amend the Notice to allow for optional contract “in cases where selling fails after 2 or more rounds of competitive bidding” under Article 210 paragraph 3 subparagraph 1 of the Act.
