(1) Reasons for Proposal

This Amendment aims to specify the frequency of post-designation inspection to increase reliability in test results by standby power testing institutions and update qualification requirements for professionals (test personnel).

(2) Major Provisions

□ Clarify the frequency of post-designation inspection by standby power testing institutions

¡ Specify the frequency of post-designation inspection to check compliance with designation requirements as 3 years after being designated initially as standby power testing institutions (including entities approved for internal measurement).

□ Update qualification requirements for professionals at standby power testing institutions 

¡ Clearly present the name of a required training course* in qualification requirements for testing personnel.

¡ Categorize positions for standby power testing personnel and differentiate career requirements. 

- Divide positions into technical and working-level personnel, differentiate career requirements for technical personnel depending on their educational attainment, and require 6 months for working-level personnel regardless of their educational attainment.
