(1) Reasons for Proposal
Since the scope of persons showing adverse reactions after vaccination is limited to infectious diseases subject to mandatory vaccination, and even if an adverse reaction occurs in the case of vaccinations for emerging infectious diseases, etc., it is not subject to reporting obligations, this amendment aims to add infectious diseases subject to special vaccination to the scope of reporting those who show adverse reactions after vaccination and strengthen the standards for administrative disposition to secure the effectiveness of the quarantine guidelines.
(2) Major Provisions
A. Expand the scope of the obligation to report adverse reactions, including infectious diseases subject to special vaccination, to the subjects of reporting adverse reactions after vaccination, which was limited to infectious diseases subject to the existing mandatory vaccination (attached Table 3).
B. Reinforce the administrative disposition from “warning” to “10 days of suspension of operation” in the case of the first violation to ensure the effectiveness of the current quarantine guidelines (attached Table 10).
