(1) Reasons for Proposal

This Amendment aims to clarify a ban on labeling the KC Mark on consumer products subject to compliance with safety standards, which are not subject to the KC Mark, and prepare the basis to impose administrative disposition for any violation thereof.

A. Newly insert a proviso that specifies the KC Mark is not included in the labeling method of consumer products subject to compliance with safety standards ([attached Table 9]).
