Funsumer foods that trademarks or packages not related to foods that are combined with foods have been recently launched, but as funsumer foods have packaging similar to household chemical products, including shoe polish, to be distributed and sold, there is a risk of health and safety-related accidents because vulnerable groups, including children and the elderly, may mistake household chemical products for food and consume them; therefore, the Labeling and Advertisement of Foods Act has been revised to prohibit improper or false labeling or advertisement of non-food products likely to be mistaken for food, the purpose of which is to designate non-food products as school things in child products to be checked for safety in accordance with the Children's Product Special Safety Act and household chemical products to be checked for safety in accordance with the Household Chemical Product and Biocidal Product Safety Act.
