1. Reason for proposal

As Industrial Sites and Development Act (hereinafter “the Act”) was revised (effective on June 23, 2021) and smart green complexes are adopted for digital transformation, energy independence, and environment-friendliness, this is intended to establish the matters on designation and development of smart green industrial complexes and detailed matters including the facility installation standard delegated by the Act.

2. Main content

A. The matters on basic direction of development of smart green industrial complexes are decided (Article 3 of draft)

B. The master plan for smart green industrial complexes is established and the condition for designating the standard on review is established (Article 4 through Article 7 of draft).

C. The matters, such as land utilization plan, traffic plan, energy supply plan, and environment-friendly construction activation, to be considered in each area are decided (Article 8 through Article 15 of draft).

D. The matters on configuration, etc. of the council are decided for the smooth development and operation of smart green industrial complexes (Article 16 of draft).
