1. Reason for amendment

The aim is to add logistics/distribution drivers, delivery/trunk-line drivers, and special cargo transportation truck owners to special-type workers for the application of industrial accident compensation insurance in order to protect them sufficiently from occupational accidents.

2. Main Content

A. Expansion of the range of special-type workers (Article 125 of the draft)

Delivery/Trunk-line drivers to transport cargoes between delivery business and terminals, special item transportation truck owners to transport automobiles (car carrier) or grain (wheat flour and feed, etc.), and logistics/distribution drivers to deliver general products from logistics centers to stores, food material from logistics/distribution centers or stores to restaurants, or ordered products from logistics/distribution centers or stores to end customers are added in the range of special-type workers under the Industrial Accident Insurance Act in order to apply industrial accident insurance to them.
