1. Reason for amendment and main contents

  With the amendment of the Act on the promotion of saving and recycling of resources (Act No. 17426, Promulgation on June 9, 2020, Enforcement on June 10, 2022) to adopt a deposit system for disposable cups for the promotion of the collection and recycling of disposable cups, the aim is to decide legally delegated matters such as resource circulation guarantee money, etc. and matters needed for execution of the same and to minimize the use of disposable wet tissues in food service stores in order to prevent environmental pollution and wastage of resources caused by the use of disposable goods.
