1. Reasons
for Amendment
As the expansion of charging infrastructure,
etc., centered on living/transportation bases due to the acceleration of supply
of eco-friendly vehicles, such as electric and hydrogen vehicles, was selected
as a major task in the 2050 Carbon Neutrality Promotion Strategy, this
amendment aims to gradually expand the installation rate of portable electric
vehicle charger outlets for convenience in charging electric vehicles in
apartment houses.
2. Major
Provisions
A. In accordance with the Land and
Transportation Carbon Neutrality Road Map, it aims to increase the installation
rate of portable electric vehicle charger outlets to more than 10% of single
parking bays from 2025 and apply more than 7% of single parking bays until 2025
(Article 6-2, subparagraph 4 partially amended).
B. This amendment alleviates or strengthens
outlet installation standards by ordinance within the limit of one-fifth of the
standards so that the standards can be operated flexibly based on the regional
electric vehicle penetration rate and parking space conditions (the latter part
of Article 6-2, subparagraph 4 newly inserted).
