with relaxed safety control standards ([Table 4], [Table 5], [Table 13])
2. Major Provisions
A. Expand the scope of safety control
for electric vehicle chargers subject to safety verification (rated input
200kVA → rated output 500kVA)
B. Rephrase terminology (“rated
capacity” → “rated output”) for the scope of control of products whose nature
is to supply power (transformers, power converters, electric vehicle chargers,
etc.)
C. Delete DC electric heating pads and
foot warmers from the list of items subject to safety verification and add to
the list of items subject to the supplier’s declaration of conformity
