1. Reasons for Amendment 

This amendment aims to revise the technical standards to introduce a new communication method in line with the technological development of wireless equipment for intelligent transportation systems and to increase the use efficiency of frequency.

2. Major Provisions

A. Separate the technical standards of radio equipment for intelligent transportation systems into LTE-V2X (5855-5875 MHz, Article 19 (1)) and WAVE (5895-5925 MHz, Article 19 (2)) bands and prescribe technical matters for each technology method.

B. Prescribe occupied bandwidths, antenna power, equivalent isotropically radiated power, etc., by technology method.

C. Prescribe out-of-band emission, etc., pursuant to manufacturers and related industry recommendations to prevent radio wave interference between adjacent channels and with other radio equipment.
