Reasons for Amendment
The Amendment intends to make improvements to the provisions related to the emergency position indicating radio beacon (EPIRB), instrument landing system (ILS), and VHF omni-directional range (VOR) in line with the relevant international standards.
Major Provisions
A. Make improvements to the provisions related to radio quality such as the emergency position indicating radio beacon (EPIRB), instrument landing system (ILS), and VHF omni-directional range (VOR), etc. in accordance with international standards (Article 10, Article 16, and Article 17).
B. Amend other wordings (Article 16, Subparagraph 1, item (e)).
