Reasons for Partial Amendment

○ Article 16 (Design Approval), Paragraph 3 of the Guidelines on the Repair of Cultural Heritage, Etc. prescribes the duration for the processing of design drawings and specifications by the Administrator of the Cultural Heritage Administration, but there are no provisions on the supplementary implementation plan of the person placing an order with regard to the request for supplementation from the Administrator of the Cultural Heritage Administration.

○ In this regard, the Amendment intends to promote the timely implementation of projects and improve the predictability and efficiency of administration by newly inserting provisions on the supplementary implementation plan of the person placing an order for design drawings and specifications with regard to the request for supplementation from the Administrator of the Cultural Heritage Administration.

Major Provisions

○ Prescribe that, in cases where the Administrator of the Cultural Heritage Administration requests supplementation of design drawings and specifications, the person placing the order shall submit a written plan for implementation of the supplementation.

-  Article 16, Paragraphs 4 to 6 of the Guidelines on the Repair of Cultural Heritage, Etc. newly inserted 

○ In the event that there are requirements for the design approval by the Administrator of the Cultural Heritage Administration, a report on the completion of supplementation of the design drawings and specifications shall be attached and submitted.
