1. Reasons for Amendment

Wireless power transfer technology is essential to the popularization of electric vehicles and fostering of the environmentally friendly mobility industry for carbon neutrality. Although the 79 to 90 kHz range is internationally recommended and used for wireless power transfer to electric vehicles, this frequency range has not been allocated for wireless power transfer in Korea and technical standards have not been prepared. Accordingly, the Amendment prescribes technical standards on wireless power transfer at the 79 to 90 kHz range to foster the environmentally friendly mobility industry and promote the use of wireless power transfer devices.

A. Amend provisions on the delegation of technical standards (Article 1)

B. Newly insert reference values for the fundamental waves and unwanted emissions of wireless power transfer devices that use the 79 to 90 kHz frequency range (Article 4 (2) 4)
