1. Reasons for Enactment

The Pesticide Control Act was amended (Act No. 18256; to be enforced on January 1, 2023) to newly insert a system for reporting aerial pest control businesses and accordingly, this Amendment prescribes detailed matters necessary for the reporting of aerial pest control businesses, follow-up, education on aerial pest control technology, etc.

2. Major Provisions

A. Prescribe necessary matters regarding the reporting procedure for aerial pest control businesses, on-site investigation methods, follow-up, etc. (Article 3, Article 5)

B. Prescribe necessary matters regarding the target of education on aerial pest control technology, method of education, applications for education and issuance of certificates of completion, etc. (Article 14, Article 18)
