1. Reasons for Proposal
As the forest management experience forest system was introduced to provide both forest management and forest recreation services with the revision of the Forest Culture and Recreation Act (Act No. 18881, promulgated on June 10, 2022), this amendment aims to determine matters entrusted by the Act, such as qualifications for creating forest management experience forests, types and standards of facilities, and matters necessary for their implementation (to provide subordinate states in time).
2. Major Provisions
A. Qualifications for those who can create forest management experience forests (Article 9-7 (1))
Provide qualification standards so that those who actually manage forestry pursuant to their forest management plans and have forest areas of a certain size or more with experience can create forest management experience forests.
B. Standards for the area of land that can be included in a forest management experience forest (Article 9-7 (2))
Define the area of land that can be included in a forest management experience forest among lands surrounded by forests to be created as a forest management experience forest within 5,000 square meters.
C. Types and standards for facilities that may be installed in forest management experience forests (Attached Table 3-5 related to Article 9-8 (1), Article 9-8 (2))
Provide the types and standards of facilities that may be installed in forest management experience forests, and define the size of a forest management experience forest, the area for a change to the form and quality of land, and the area of buildings.
