​1. Reasons for Amendment 

This amendment aims to improve and supplement technical standards, including the establishment of new test standards to improve the quality of relays.

2. Major Provisions

A. Introduce a classification standard for “indoor types” and “indoor/outdoor types” according to the installation location (Article 2 subparagraph 14)  

B. Signal transmission, etc., when a protection circuit is activated during power supply (Article 3 subparagraph14 (a), 15 (a), and 17 (a)) 

C. Installation of a communication check signal transmission device at regular intervals and the transmission of communication recheck signals, etc., when transmitting an automatic communication check to a receiver, etc. (Article 3-2 (6)) 

D. Introduce a waterproof test (waterproof-type only) (Article 11-2) 

E. Introduce an output voltage test and an instantaneous response test according to load current changes (Articles 14-6 and 14-7)

F. Marking durability test (Article 16-2)
