1. Reasons for Amendment and Major Provisions
Regarding the post-floor impact sound performance test system introduced by the revision of the Housing Act (Act No. 18834, promulgated on February 3, 2022, and enforced on August 4, 2022), this amendment aims to prevent confusion in system operation by making it clear that the calculation ratio of the number of households subject to performance testing shall be based on the number of households by type, which are classified by area, number of floors, etc., in the Standards for Rating and Testing Floor Impact Sound Isolation Structures in Multi-Family Housing and to strengthen the inspection procedure for the floor structure construction stages by changing the construction confirmation submission system from that the supervisor shall submit it once to the project entity after the completion of the floor structure construction to three times for each construction stage in order to improve the effectiveness of the post-performance inspection system.
