1. Reasons
for Amendment
This amendment aims to improve some deficiencies that
have emerged in the operation of the current regulation, establish and
supplement standards for the installation of navigational aids in offshore wind
farms, and improve the findings from the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries'
self-audit.

This regulation stipulates the details of the functions and specifications of
navigational aids in order to comply with the standards of the International
Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities. |
2. Major
Provisions
A. Establish installation standards for lateral marks in
cases of establishing ship traffic lanes within offshore wind farms by
reflecting the results of maritime traffic safety examinations. Incorporate new
criteria for the installation of navigational aids for floating wind power
turbines and refine the provisions to address any shortcomings (Chapter 7).
B. Add
relevant standards to reduce confusion about colors in the marine buoyage
system (Article 6).
C. Improve
some deficiencies that have emerged in relation to the naming of navigational
aids (Article 80).
D. Adjust
terminology according to the results of the project for improving difficult
terms in administrative rules promoted by the Ministry of Government
Legislation.
