1. Reasons for Amendment 

 This amendment aims to improve and supplement technical standards, such as the establishment of new test standards to improve the quality of Detectors.

2. Major Provisions

A. Newly insert the definition, classification, structure, and function of multi-sensor detectors (Article 2 subparagraph 9, Article 3 subparagraph 20, Article 5 subparagraph 26-2) 

B. Strengthen the flame retardancy test of external cases (Article 5 subparagraph 4 item b) 

C. Introduce standards for changing wireless communication inspection cycles of interconnected detectors among single alarm detectors and diversifying the automatic communication inspection methods (Article 5-4 (1) 3 (a) and 2-2) 

D. Introduce the overvoltage repetition test in the power supply voltage fluctuation test (Article 7 subparagraph 2) 

E. Add the non-fire alarm test (wind speed change test, ambient temperature test, barometric pressure change test for smoke detectors) (Article (3) and (5))

F. Introduce the test to check whether there is a malfunction when leaving high or low temperature in a power-off state (Article 11)

G. Strengthen the sensitivity test for sensors (Articles 14, 16-2, 18-2, and 19-2)

 - Spot-type pneumatic rate-of-rise detector: revising the plunge non-operation test 

 - Fixed temperature detector: introducing the sensitivity design value test 

 - Ionization or photoelectric detector: introducing the sensitivity design value test and reducing the tolerance of analog fire information 

H. Introduce the light source surveillance test and the light output reduction test (Article 32-2) 

I. Auto-calibration test, marking durability test (Article 32-2, Article 37-2)
