1. Reason for Amendment

 ㅇ There is a need to ensure safety at construction sites by wholly prohibiting the simultaneous undertaking of construction work where simultaneous undertaking may pose a risk of fire.

2. Major Provisions

 ㅇ Under Construction Supervision Duties - Process Control, where it states, “Simultaneous undertaking of construction work with a high risk of fire (welding and work involving oil mist) within the same building shall be prohibited: Provided, that this shall exclude cases where simultaneous undertaking is deemed safe by the project supervisor due to the installation of a ventilation or safety device (e.g., an oil mist recovery system),” delete “Provided, that this shall exclude cases where simultaneous undertaking is deemed safe by the project supervisor due to the installation of a ventilation or safety device (e.g., an oil mist recovery system)” (Chapter 2, 2.5.2, 4) to eliminate this fire risk from construction sites.
