1. Reason for Amendment

This Amendment improves evaluation items to more accurately reflect the quality of package delivery services experienced by consumers, newly inserts appeal procedures for businesses subject to evaluation during the service evaluation process, and otherwise addresses weaknesses in the operation of the relevant systems.

2. Major Provisions

A. Improve package delivery service evaluation items (attached Tables 1 and 2)

 Introduce an evaluation of additional fees and other aspects of delivery quality in island areas, and newly insert industrial accident/employment insurance coverage as an index of evaluation in the area of employee protection.

B. Newly insert an appeal procedure (Article 11-2 newly inserted)

 Newly insert procedures requiring evaluation agencies to notify target businesses of their evaluation results in advance, and allowing businesses with an objection to file an appeal.
