1. Reason for proposal

a. The procedure for organizing the Marine Science and Technology Committee is deleted.

b. Guidelines and procedures are provided for the systematic operation of the newly introduced "Identification/Verification System for Marine Science New Technology Applied Products and Facilities" under the revision of the Marine Science and Technology Promotion Act. 

c. The provisions are partially revised for the entrustment of the relevant authority to operate the marine R&D information integration system and to implement the Identification/Verification System for Marine Science New Technology Applied Products and Facilities efficiently. 

2. Main contents

a. The procedure for organizing the Marine Science and Technology Committee is deleted (Articles 4 and 5 deleted).

b. Provisions are newly inserted to provide the application process for introducing the Identification/Verification System for Marine Science New Technology Applied Products and those related to the Satisfaction Criteria and Procedures for Verifying the new technology applied products (Establishment of Article 17-2).

c. The provisions are partially revised for the operation of the marine R&D information integration system and for the entrustment of the relevant authority to operate and those related to the operation the Identification/Verification System for Marine Science New Technology Applied Products and Facilities (Revision of Article 21).
